We love good food!

Since the nursery`s early beginnings, we have always prided ourselves on offering a well balanced, tasty children’s food menu. We offer the usual family favourites such as Spaghetti Bolognese and Cottage Pie along with some more exotic dishes such as Moroccan Cous Cous and Sweet Potato and Lentil Curry. Throughout the day we offer the children fresh fruit and other fresh, healthy snacks and of course a plentiful supply of water.

Our food ethos

We cater for all children who attend the nursery every day from breakfast right through to evening snack. Our recipes are vegetarian themed and the under 2`s have a separate tea menu offering a more meat based option to ensure they receive their all-important nutrients. Our food partners work very closely with the nursery team and our menu is changed on a regular basis. See our sample menus below.

Did You Know?

Each colour group of fruits and vegetables supplies a variety of health benefits while
providing visual appeal to your plate. Be sure to include an assortment of colours in your diet.

Green veggies contain a powerful antioxidant known as lutein. Lutein promotes good vision and healthy skin.

Red vegetables have powerful antioxidants like lycopene and anthocyanins. Their anti-inflammatory properties help to keep you healthy. They can also help to maintain and increase memory.

Yellow and orange vegetables contain Vitamin C as well as several antioxidants such as carotenoids and bioflavonoids. These vegetables have been shown to help maintain a healthy heart and eyes.

Purple vegetables, although not as abundant as other coloured veggies, are especially rich in powerful flavonoids. Eating these deep coloured veggies are good for our memory.
